It’s the start of 2nd grade for you! Your mom and I were nervous because we weren’t sure if you’d be really sad leaving mom like you were last year. But, the first day was a success! Mom bought you some squishees for your pocket to squeeze if you missed her and she also got you matching bracelets. You do great once you get in school, and you’re super smart, but you get really sad leaving mom at the door. I know this year will be great and it will get better.
