Year 7 – October 2022

We took our first family vacation to Miramar Beach, FL. At one point, me and your mom were thinking about Phoenix, but we knew you and Houston would really enjoy the beach. This was something we’d been looking forward to and it didn’t disappoint.
Everything about the trip was amazing – the weather, the hotel, the beach, the food, just everything! It started off great when we got there and our room wasn’t ready, so they gave us an upgraded room. You said right when we got to the hotel, you wanted to go straight to the pool and beach – so we did!

You and Houston both loved pushing the button on the elevator. We decided you were the hotel girl, meaning you got to press them when we were going up to the room and Houston was the pool boy, meaning he pressed the buttons when we were going down to the pool or beach.

My favorite memory was hunting for ghost crabs on the beach at night. We would use a flashlight to spot the crabs and they would freeze enough for us to put them in a bucket or hold them. You were so brave and picked up a few with your hands. It was so much fun! I also loved playing in the sand, eating good food, and just watching everyone laugh and smile. The most special moment for me was just holding you on the beach the last night we were there and watching one of the most beautiful sunsets.

The whole trip was a memory that none of us will forget. We loved it so much that we want to make a yearly trip out of it. Your mom and i are going to do all we can to make that happen!

Year 7 – November 2022

Thanksgiving was not that great this year as we had plans to go to Sandusky, but we all got COVID

Christmas was amazing this year! You and Houston are at the perfect age where it’s absolutely magical!
